When is the 2026 Golf Classic?
The 33rd Annual Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe Golf Classic will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nevada.
How do I play in the Golf Classic?
Golf participation is available through sponsorship. A Team Partner sponsorship is $2,250 and includes one foursome of four golfers.
Space is limited, and returning teams are given the first opportunity to participate each year. To inquire about team availability or join the waitlist, contact axistra@bgclt.org.
What is included with a Team Partner sponsorship?
A $2,250 Team Partner sponsorship includes:
One foursome of four golfers
Two mulligan balls for each golfer
An arm's length of raffle tickets for each golfer
Two cannon shots at Hole 16 for each golfer
Food and beverages throughout the tournament
Golfers will spend the day enjoying Edgewood Tahoe with food, on-course bars, raffle prizes, activities, and tournament festivities.
Are teams still available for the 2026 Golf Classic?
No. All team spots for the 2026 tournament have been filled.
There are still several ways to participate in Golf Classic Weekend, including available sponsorship opportunities, the Comedy Show & Dinner, the Paint & Sip Luncheon, the online silent auction, and the on-site raffle.
Are sponsorship opportunities still available?
Yes. The 2026 Golf Classic offers several sponsorship opportunities for businesses and community partners, including Pro Partner, Eagle Partner, Hole-in-One Partner, Mulligan Partner, and Tee Partner levels.

Is there a raffle?
Yes. The Golf Classic features an on-site raffle with prizes and experiences donated by local businesses and community supporters.
Is there a silent auction?
Yes. The 2026 Golf Classic will also feature an online silent auction, giving supporters another way to participate and raise funds for local youth.
Can I donate an item to the Golf Classic?
Yes. We are currently accepting donations of gift certificates, products, experiences, services, rounds of golf, golf packages, and other items for the Golf Classic raffle and silent auction.

Is the Golf Classic just for golfers?
No. Golf Classic Weekend includes several ways to participate without playing in the tournament.
The weekend begins Saturday with Joe Praino & Friends: Comedy Show & Dinner. On Sunday, guests can attend the 2nd Annual Paint & Sip Luncheon at Edgewood Tahoe while the Golf Classic takes place on the course.
Supporters can also participate through the online silent auction, sponsorships, and donated items.
What is the Comedy Show & Dinner?
Joe Praino & Friends: Comedy Show & Dinner takes place Saturday, October 17, 2026, at The Barrel Room in South Lake Tahoe.
The event runs from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and includes live stand-up comedy, a buffet dinner provided by MacDuff's Pub, and two drinks with each ticket.
Tickets are $75 per person, and guests must be 21 or older. Purchase tickets HERE.
Who is performing at the Comedy Show?
Joe Praino returns to headline alongside guest comedians Howie Nave, Pete Cestaro, Matt Knudsen, and Andy Lazarus.
What does my Comedy Show ticket include?
Each $75 ticket includes:
Admission to the comedy show
A buffet dinner provided by MacDuff's Pub
Two drinks
Guests must be 21 or older.
Do I have to be a golfer or sponsor to attend the Comedy Show?
No. The Comedy Show & Dinner is a separate ticketed event open to anyone 21 or older. You do not need to participate in Sunday's Golf Classic to attend.
How do I purchase Comedy Show tickets?
Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased at bit.ly/bgclt-comedy-2026. Space is limited.
What is the Paint & Sip Luncheon?
The Paint & Sip Luncheon returns for its second year on Sunday, October 18, at Edgewood Tahoe.
The event offers a way to spend the day at Edgewood without golfing, beginning with lunch at Brooks' Bar & Deck followed by a guided painting experience with Charlotte Castillo. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
Guests must be 21 or older.

The schedule for Sunday, October 18 is:

How much are Paint & Sip tickets?
Tickets are $125 per person and can be purchased at bit.ly/paint-sip-2026. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Guests must be 21 or older.
What is included with my Paint & Sip ticket?
Each $125 ticket includes:

All painting materials

Do I need painting experience?
No. The painting experience is guided, and all painting materials are provided.
Do I need to participate in the Golf Classic to attend the Paint & Sip?
No. The Paint & Sip is a separate event and is a great way to experience Golf Classic Weekend and spend the day at Edgewood without golfing.
Can I attend both the Comedy Show and Paint & Sip?
Yes. The Comedy Show takes place Saturday evening, October 17, and the Paint & Sip takes place Sunday, October 18. Each event requires separate registration.

How long has the Golf Classic been held?
2026 marks the 33rd Annual Golf Classic and 30 years of the tournament being held at Edgewood Tahoe.
What is Edgewood Tahoe's involvement in the Golf Classic?
For 30 years, Edgewood Tahoe has generously donated the use of its golf course and facilities for the Annual Golf Classic. This longstanding partnership has helped make the Golf Classic a tradition for the Club and the South Shore community, raising critical funds for local youth year after year.
How much has the Golf Classic raised?
Over its 33-year history, the Annual Golf Classic has raised more than $1.1 million for the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe.
Where does the money raised go?
100% of funds raised throughout Golf Classic Weekend help provide affordable after-school and school-break programs, meals and snacks, academic support, and opportunities in STEM, art, sports and recreation, character and leadership development, and social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
